The Abbott is a gem!
We could not have been happier with our stay at The Abbott! It was so conveniently located to everything we needed. The room was perfectly tidy and clean, the bathroom was a good size, great water pressure and shower, wonderful “products”. The room was plenty big for all our bags and family. Loved the Nepresso and Mentos! Sorry I ate most of them! The gentleman at the front reception was gracious and helpful. We will be back!

Work trip, felt at home in the heart of the CBD.
I was in Cairns on business, and I would happily take my wife back for a getaway to this boutique hotel in Cairns. Little extra touches, including the humidifiers that were incredibly relaxing , other touches like the lounge area with coffee, quality biscuits and complementary water made me feel at home.

Upscale, perfect location, easy acess to shops, restaurants and activities. Enjoyed the lounge with complimentary water & coffee. Quiet despite the central location. Staff go above & beyond to be helpful. Truly excellent service. There is only 1 washing machine for the building and it is frequently in use. No dryer, but there is a hot room with clotheslines that worked well. The washer has detergent included. The one item I really missed was a microwave. There is one on the 2nd floor, but I wish we had one in the room. We liked the property enough that we extended our stay. Would stay again & highly recommend.
