Nice cosy hotel despite the noisy restaurant downstairs which closes quite early so not an issue. Small room but well appointed. Could do with better sound proofing - someone in another room was snoring and we could hear it all night. Good breakfast.

Accommodation was first rate as always, we had booked the Hayloft for a change, but unfortunately this was not available when we arrived... however we were upgraded and had a wonderful room in the townhouse. Nice room and lovely shower. V nice staff Good breakfast. Right in middle of Stamford so great location. Asked for a quiet room but we looked out onto an area with air con piping which you could hear but not at night. Also lots of people walking past on creaky landing.

The only thing that was a concern was that the Townhouse property we stayed in had a windy staircase to our room in the basement, and was a little way from the main hotel, so if was rainy we had to make sure we had protection when we went for breakfast. We would certainly stay there again but would make sure we booked a room in the main hotel.
