Lovely undiscovered gem. Breakfast service needs a little attention. Everything else is all good

Lovely hotel, friendly, helpful staff but very squeeky floorboards.

A very friendly, above and beyond service provided by staff. The room and en suite was the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. It was absolutely spotless. (I travel a lot for work). The shower was super powerful. If I had to find fault, it would be the pillow. Only one pillow and the filling appeared to cubed foam, which was really uncomfortable. Also, I would have loved a little bottle of water in the room. Apart from these two minor observations, the place was superb. Wish I’d have had the time to have breakfast.

Cheap rooms and good parking . Staff seemed a bit disorganised as they took a while to realise that I was booked.

Stayed for a business trip clean and comfortable friendly staff

An absolute gem of a place! The staff are so very friendly and welcoming, probably the most hospitable of all the places I’ve booked over the years of travelling. The room we had (room 8) was immaculately clean and well maintained, there wasn’t a single thing that hadn’t been given attention and care. The shower in the wet room was fantastic! The whole place is beautifully decorated and a pleasure to be in. Breakfast was very tasty with a huge range of options as well as the standard hot & cold buffet (the coffee is excellent). The only downside to this beautiful place is that you can all too clearly hear adjoining guests talking and moving around their rooms, which if you’re a light sleeper like me, can cause broken sleep, but that’s something that isn’t easily rectified and it won’t stop me returning next time I’m staying in Manchester! Very comfortable stay at Barton Villa. Very convenient for many facilities, in our case travel to central Manchester. Lovely breakfast and well appointed rooms

Comfortable and clean and quiet

It was a great place to stay! I was here for 4 nights and the staff were so accommodating and welcoming. The rooms are quite small and minimal but have basically everything you would need- minus a fridge. I was traveling solo and this worked perfect for me. The staff again was phenomenal.
