Service and cleanliness were acceptable and the area is generally quiet enough at night for a light sleeper like myself. However, a major minus is the unreliable air conditioning. Throughout our stay, the a/c could only reach the lowest temperature of 23.5 C. The a/c was also very weak, even at the highest fan setting, resulting in a stuffy room. Additionally, I would get woken up at 4-5am in the morning every day because the room got too warm (even without covers on my body). I had to turn off the a/c and turn it on again — this sort of reset it and allowed for production of cool air. We contacted the front desk and requested for someone to look at the a/c as we felt that maintenance might solve the issue. However, the staff merely sent up a stand fan which didn’t really help. They didn’t send anyone to our room to inspect or do maintenance.

It was awfully close to the best?
I stayed here with my wife and there were nothing to complain about, exept one thing. The room and shower room were perfectly cleaned up and well decorated with cares. We were happily staying for two nights but at the night of the first day, we both began to feel strange sore throats. It was dry and scratchy kind of feeling. We stayed here in May, so the air conditioning is must, and it was working perfectly well. We actually do not know what caused these sore throats. We could open a part of window, but no changes. Whenever we go out for shopping or eating out, we had no problem in our throats. Insect repellant? We did not smell it.... Very confused.... I hope the hotel works on this issues carefully and seriously, and be one of the best hotel in the area. I am counting on their efforts for providing their best hotel services in the beautiful Jeju island.
