Aan de overkant bij cafe Mama of iets dergelijks fruitmilkshake gedronken voor nette prijs. Colectivos naar Celestun vertrekken van stationnetje aan Plaza San Juan, op loopafstand. Is een uur sneller dan met de bus!

The room was always cleaned, as needed and I loved the pool and breakfast, but it was the friendly staff, from housekeeping to the staff at breakfast to the kind man who seems to do everything here, he walked me to my room at check in, to the cats and the kindness of everyone here. I am so grateful to have spent some time here and felt the heart of Mexico. 🇲🇽 Muchas gracias to you all!

El personal nos atendio muy bien, el problema fue la habitacion y uno que otro aspecto con varios temas,1. No recomendamos usar el elevador, se atora o no funciona correctamente, da miedo subir y no volver a salir porque ya se trabo 2. las puertas de las habitaciones ya necesitan una actualizacion, las chapas se perciben inseguras para resguardar lo que dejes en el interior 3. el aire acondicionado de la habitacion no funcionaba correctamente, no enfriaba, solo aventaba aire y fue necesario que movieramos las camas hacia donde aventaba aire para por lomenos sentir la pequeña brisa que daba y poder solventar el calor 4. la chapa de la puerta del baño ya estaba colgando practicamente y no cerraba del todo bien, 5. el tamaño del baño no es adecuado para personas altas, quedas muy limitado y pegado a la puerta. 6. se salia el agua del inodoro, pense que se darian cuenta al ver la toalla que dejabamos para absorver el agua pero no 7. la señal de la tv no es adecuada, hay canales que medio se ven o se escuchan muy mal 8. cuidado con el estacionamiento, se llena mucho y si no encuentras espacio hay que estacionarse afuera en la calle, la alberca bien, pero el piso que tiene alrededor es resbaloso y peligroso tomando en cuenta que estas mojado, las instalaciones ya se ven algo anticuadas, necesita una actualizacion, lo que mas nos gusto fueron los gatitos que ahi viven.

The hotel is really nice and good value for money, really close to the ADO bus station in the center of Mérida. But I was there one Saturday night and there were so much noise from people having "a party" at the pool/ lobby area that it was impossible to sleep. Nice and spacious rooms though and everything look clean. Perfect for a one night stay if you have an early bus to catch.

Le personnel n'était pas très chaleureux et avait même l'air agacé. La chambre n'est pas très bien éclairée, il y a principalement les lampes de chevets pour éclairer toute la pièce dont une qui ne fonctionnait pas. Nous avons trouvé un cafard dans notre chambre par la même occasion.

The restaurant was not open the afternoon I arrived or for dinner. There were no washcloths in the room. Very poor lightening in the vanity area. Hot water took over five minutes to arrive. Shower was so small I could barely turn around. The shower head only trickled out water. One of my worst hotel experiences in Merida. I will never return.

We stayed at Hotel Mirador in Merida for one night during our trip across Mexico. It was one of the best hotels we found at a reasonable price. The hotel was clean and welcoming. At first, the reception staff seemed a bit unfriendly, but this was likely due to the language barrier. One downside is that the staff does not speak English, which made communication more difficult. In smaller and cheaper hotels we visited, communicating was much easier. Nevertheless, highly recommend this hotel. Very close to the ADO station and not that far from the city centre.
