Hotel is okay, the room we got had comfortable beds, bathroom was big and clean, we loved that it had a tub, unfortunately the jets of the tub didn’t work and the shower didn’t have anything to cover up and prevented from splashing water all over the bathroom. Cleaning crew was amazing!

This was an amazing stay at Seul. The staff was so attentive, they even spoke a bit of Brazilian portuguese. The rooms were clean and very spacious, the bathroom was very satisfying. Overall I recommendo thise place for everyone!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a nice 2 night stay. Very easy to get around. Parked our car and we used subway to go different places. Lots of restaurants near the hotel. Actually overall I was satisfied with the room size! It was cozy and clean. The environment is walkable location to metro. Noise level is low. The only issue that I was made me horrible experience was the room 1103 internet . It’s connected and disconnected instantly continuously. It’s so annoying for the past few night and I have to use my own data. The room service said because the internet is shared with whole floor and I checked internet speed is less than 1M even lower . But the whole floor only less than 10 rooms . It is unacceptable broadband speed, I hope this can improve in the future . Thanks

The hotel is in a very convenient location if you plan to attend any events south of the Han River like concerts at Olympic Park. And with Jamsilsaenae station just a few minutes away, you can hop on the green line(Line 2) and get to Gangnam, Hongdae, Myeongdong, or any of the touristy spots in Seoul. That said if you're unfamiliar with Seoul, it's definitely not a touristy neighborhood but I loved it because you really get a feel of what it's like to live in Seoul. As for the hotel itself, it's mostly well-kept and I had no problems so I enjoyed my stay. Next time I'm in Seoul and need to stay south of the Han, Pharos Hotel is definitely going to be at the top of my list!

I had to change my room due to a strong odor and general sense of wear and tear. The staff was super friendly and understanding. I was able to get a different room because they weren’t at full occupancy at the time. My new room was immaculate and beautiful. So, my honest rating would depend on which room I had to stay in. The first room, maybe 2 stars, my new room-4 stars. Staff (when on site) 5 stars, the neighborhood 5 stars. The surrounding area was great. Very walkable, close to public transportation, a ton of restaurants, coffee shops.

The property was generally satisfactory, and the reception staff were helpful. Also, the room was fairly large, which was nice. However, there were no laundry facilities, which were advertised. Additionally, my soap was thrown out during cleaning, which isn’t a big deal, but was irritating. Overall, the experience was fairly good.

This hotel is located at prime hangout spot in JamSil. Bus Stop and Metro is 5 minutes walking distance and there are airport bus stop close by. If you get dropped off at 잠실새내station, hotel is two blocks away. Staff are friendly but English is not well understood. Towels are very worn out but cleaner than most hotel in US. It was a shame there is no laundry machine on premises. And Sky lounge is closed. I would definitely come back again.
