Perfect spot in the city
We love this hotel! Such a great location and wonderful staff. The rooms are great and we have been lucky to always have one overlooking the green space across the street. We will be back 🙂

Great hotel!
Great hotel, great price, great location, close to shops and two underground stations (Bayswater and Queensway) and it is peaceful and safe area of London. The reception was very friendly and helpful. I'll certainly come back and I have told family and friends about this lovely hotel. Thanks for your warm hospitality!

Get what you paid for
Staff friendly, accomodating of early arrival (after some back-and-forth). Cheap and cheerful - not expecting 5-star treatment or facilities at this price. Small things though - bathroom comically small, impossible access to toilet for anyone of average or taller height, filthy extractor fan, rattly window directly above the bed, faulty power sockets, absent hot water… would stay again for the location, little else.

2/10 Poor

When I got to the room it seemed a little stained on the floors and walls and the blinds and wasn’t 100% sure about the headboard of the bed. The room smelled so strongly of bleach that I had to keep the window open despite it being November and a bit noisy with traffic outside. Around midnight the man in the room above me started screaming and crying and singing and yelling. He was walking and stomping around nonstop and the creaking was very loud on my ceiling, loud enough to keep me awake. He seemed very erratic so I was too scared to leave my room, so tried ringing the front desk 8 times to no answer. I tried contacting the hotel via this app and also the whatsapp number of the manager listed on the site, but received no adequate response. I went down to reception twice but there was no one on the desk. Eventually around 2am I ended up going into a room marked Private where I found a staff member, and to their credit he moved me to another room on another floor at no extra charge. The second room also smelled very strongly of bleach so I had to sleep with the windows open. The receptionist was very apologetic in the morning and the staff were helpful and kind when I was able to find them, but I would not stay here again in a million years.

Weekend trip
We stayed here from Friday to Sunday. Check in was 3pm but we arrived in London around 12. The hotel were happy to keep our luggage for us until we were able to check in. Same with checkout. The hotel held our luggage until we came back around 3pm. Hotel was in a great location, staff were all super friendly and the room was perfect for a couple of nights. Bed was comfy, room had an extra blanket if cold/fan if hot. Opening windows, private bathroom, tea/coffee and kettle in room. Breakfast was basic - but perfect for what we needed. Overall the stay was great. Will definitely be back! Thank you all!
