Underwhelmed. Would not recommend.
Very good location. However…My room was in the -09 stack if you’re given a room in this stack it will be very dark. dark dated furnishings and decor. Extremely poor lighting, exposed extension cords, no slippers or robe as itemized on website, unable to close the pocket door for the bathroom, no mention of the main restaurant being closed, leaving only the bar and it’s limited menu for dining.only one drawer available and had to use the small desktop and the two shelves above to place my packed belongings. Very inconvenient for a 7 night stay.cheap plastic soap dish and waste can in bathroom. Did not look forward to returning to my room each evening. Despite good location the mediocrity of the property did not justify the price.

I am a long time traveler and this experience was outstanding and way-way above what we could have expected. Overall, the stay was fine but we were disappointed because this is not the same building the hotel used to be in. It has moved to a smaller boutique hotel building just next door from the original. The room was smaller than what we have stayed in, in the past in the original building, the lobby was very small compared to the grand entrances of the previous building and burger joint is obviously no longer in the lobby (it has moved to where Norma’s used to be).

The hotel is OK at best! Super tiny room. Room service trays left out 24hours in the hallways. There wasn’t a time we went in the hotel someone was at the front desk screaming about accommodations. Very ghetto. Decore is nice. You don’t get much of anything with your stay. So if you are looking for BANG for your buck this is NOT the place for you.

I googled Parker Meriden and this hotel came up. Le Méridien is nothing like Parker Méridien. It was very disappointing. But the staff particularly VJ made up for it. He was wonderful. The hotel is in terrible condition and right next to very loud construction.
