Overpriced. We were assigned a tiny room with no privacy. The curtains did not close all the way allowing a direct view of the bathroom and bed. Knees touched wall when using the toilet. For $150 USD definitely not worth it. This hotel should be $70 USD max.

2/10 Poor

A very nice property outside Valle de Bravo in the middle of a forest, quiet and perfect for a weekend relax. However the property has some maintenance issues, my daughter's room was a recently renewed one but in the morning there was no running water because there was a problem with the plumbing so they had to change her to an older room. The fixtures in the bathroom are old and the shower room is gloomy, also very poor amenities with no Kleenex and no glass to rinse your mouth. The gardens are beautiful and well kept, the pool is nice and warm but there are no waiters to take your orders of snacks or drinks. On Christmas there was a problem with the restaurant staff and even the owners had to take the orders and do the cleaning and mopping. Overall a nice experience with room for improvement.

Cozy boutique hotel feeling
Came to Valle de Bravo for a wedding and unfortunately only stayed here one night. Cozy boutique hotel feeling, this is a place where you should spend at least a couple of nights to take advantage of everything it’s got to offer (nature, spa, restaurants). Had a jacuzzi session, get to check amazing views of Valle de Bravo. Room was small but cozy, and our only negative comment is that the bathroom is too small. Definitely recommend checking this hotel out!

Lovely mountain retreat!
Loto Azul is a nice, quiet hotel green areas and gorgeous views to the surrounding forests and lake; be cautious though because there’s lots of stairs so it’s not suited for everyone!

Great getaway
The hotel is really nice, it has beautiful views and great spa. People were nice and the room was clean. The only tiny problem is that it has thin walls and you could hear noises from outside

Wi-Fi that came and went. . Restaurant was great but only open on the weekend. On Monday we were stuck at this remote location with no food options. Had to call a taxi for anything and everything. Staff were nice and the hotel was clean but not worth the money for the reasons I gave. Although The room was nice it was full of mosquitos and we were left with our legs completely bitten and itchy and with poor sleep. Place is ok for a weekend if you don’t mind being bitten by mosquitoes and having no internet. The place is very remote so you need a taxi.

Beautiful place to stay
This is a really beautiful place. The rooms are in cabins perched on the side of a hill overlooking Valle de Bravo. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the grounds are immaculately kept. I had a delicious breakfast at the restaurant on the terrace, which has an amazing view as well. My only complain was that the bed was pretty stiff.
