We booked rooms at this hotel primarily for the location - its proximity to Sapporo Station, as well as rental car return. In that aspect, it did not disappoint. In addition, the staff helped by providing instructions about how to access the station, which is affected by ongoing construction. Overall, the staff were very helpful throughout: check-in was a breeze; the cleaning staff were responsive, the wait staff at breakfast were kind.
One cautionary comment, however. The rooms are very small relative to the number of beds packed into them. We reserved two rooms for three guests. We ended up with a total of five twin beds, two of which took up space that could have been put to better use. The limited space remaining is occupied by a large desk and chairs. If you need space, say to put your luggage or to access the closets, I recommend that you upgrade to larger rooms.
However, overall we found the hotel very comfortable and convenient. And I recommend it to other travelers passing through Sapporo.
