This is my second time & it’s still a very nice hotel. Well situated and in a quiet neighborhood. I did not use the restaurant so I cannot comment on food. Get a higher floor room facing the pool but not the 4th floor in raining season I could hear everything & my A/C made too much cranking noise but my room was changed thanks to the duty manager. The staff were most courteous & helpful. I would stay again.

I had an excellent stay at The Wheatbaker. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with spotless bathroomswhich is always a must for me. Breakfast was lovely, offering a good selection of fruits, continental options, and African-style dishes. I especially appreciated being able to order fresh coffee in the mornings.
The restaurant food was so good that I often chose to dine in the hotel most evenings. Room service is available 24 hours, and the bar is fantastic with creative cocktails and a great wine list.
The location is convenient and in a nice, walkable neighborhood, making it easy to get around. Most of all, the staff were exceptional—friendly, respectful, and genuinely welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

Wheatbaker is a nice, thoughtful hotel. The room I stayed was clean and I was quite satisfied with the room
However, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations and so there was no access to the pool or gym. The front desk seems to have been moved to accommodate the reno going on.
Overall excellent time was had during my stay.
I will be back for sure and highly recommend.
