It took me a while to find as there is no obvious sign at the front, just an A4 notice. In the window with the hotel name. The room was clean and the reception is manned 24 hours making it easy to check in when convenient and getting back to the property late at night is not an issue.
However, the room itself was very small despite being sold as a "deluxe" double room, and the bathroom in particular was very cramped. The TV bracket was hanging off the wall with the TV at an awkward angle, the shower head bracket was also loose so hand to be used as hand-held only as it would not stay in position, and the shower did not drain meaning the base filled up with water very quickly so I was limited to very short showers. I asked for this to be looked at after the first day but nothing was done.
The room was also uncomfortably hot, with a radiator tucked away behind the headboard of the bed which was screwed to the wall, meaning it could not be reached easily, and the window did not open due to scaffolding outside. There were screws sticking out of the headboard, wall and bathroom tiles and random pieces of tape covering the ends of these. The bed was also very uncomfortable and creaked a lot.
Overall, not the best experience but served a purpose for the price and in an excellent location, easily accessible by tube, train or bus.
