The staff were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome, showing us around when we arrived. The hotel was clean throughout, and the air conditioning worked really well, which made our stay comfortable. We stayed in a downstairs superior room. Unfortunately, there was a noticeable smell of drains in the room, and because it was on the ground floor, people walking past on the road could see into the room, which reduced our privacy. The bathroom layout was a little unusual, with separate frosted glass cubicles for the shower and the toilet. While functional, they didn’t offer much privacy. Overall, the friendly staff and cleanliness were positives, but the room location, drainage smell, and lack of privacy would make me think twice about booking the same room again. I would imagine an upstairs room would be better, as they appear to have balconies.

The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable. We didn't use the common area but it is well stocked snd comfortable, if you need to use it. We found much humidity, probably because it was raining all the time. Nearby is beautiful, many great restaurants, friendly stmisphere, and wevloved Faro overall.

The property was very close to everything. Very clean, bed comfortable, had good AC. No tv or refrigerator in rooms. Small shower but water was hot. Carolina was very helpful. If you like simple, clean and centrally located it is wonderful

Loved the area as it was close to everything we wanted to see as well as lots of restaurants. The trim is basic but is brand new reno so it is fresh and clean. Staff was so helpful with recommendations. Amazing value.

Carolina is the ideal host. From the initial booking until after we left, she was always friendly, courteous, informative, and nothing was too much trouble. Instructions before arrival were very thorough, which was good as we were checking in after office hours. Absolutely perfect location for exploring Faro and the surrounding area. Everything was within walking distance. The room we booked was simple but clean. The building itself secure. Located in a quiet area and no issues with sound from outside, despite having two patio doors on to balconies. There is a communal kitchen and larger balcony with tables and chairs. The kitchen had various teas and a coffee machine, plus various food and cold drinks items available via an honesty box. I would definitely recommend this property if you are wanting to stay in a really central location in Faro. Thank you Carolina.

The staff are absolutely friendly, professional and very welcoming. The building is completely new, very nice, quite. There is a comunal área where you can get coffe/tea for free and the snacks and other drinks are to be paid separately. There is also a little fridge where you can put your stuff. 100% recommended this place!!

Perfect room for me as a solo traveler but would also work for a friendly couple. Bed was very comfortable and room was modern and clean as a whistle. Nice shower with good water temperature and pressure. Perfect little separate toilet with a sink. Location is great with a ten minute walk to Faro Marina and even closer to a great birdwatching location next to the railway tracks. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Instructions for entry were received promptly and key to my room was provided by the receptionist. I highly recommend the DAZ house for your stay in Faro it’s perfect and the price is very reasonable.

Perfect central location. Place was immaculate and very comfortable bed. Room was so comfortable and spacious. Air conditioning was welcoming and refreshing after very hot days. Cute little patio to enjoy a coffee or snacks. Staff were not familiar with the area and despite offering to reach owners with follow up questions - did not follow through with answers. Only disappointing part.

Nice room within easy 5 minut walk of Faro marina.

Daz House is a newly renovated property. Really comfy bed and nice balcony for room 555. Staff were on premises 10.00-17.00 and were very helpful. The bathroom was a good size and shower worked well with plenty of hot water. No TV in the room (not such a bad thing!). Free coffee, tea, water in communal area is a good idea. We will be back.

Excellent location! It's quiet and safe. I traveled solo, and felt safe walking to and from locations. Everything is so close. 5 minutes walking to Old Town and everything you need is nearby. There was excellent communication prior to my arrival and I was greeted by name when I arrived. Carolina is lovely and so helpful. I had originally booked a private room with a shared bathroom, however, Carolina gave me a free upgrade to a private bathroom in my room since it's a slow season and it was available . I was so pleasantly surprised and grateful ! She gave me a quick tour to show where I can get my free coffee or tea and also the "honor" system for purchasing snacks and drinks (by listing on paper what you've taken, to pay for it later). I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I would definitely recommend to others and would return to this very spot. It's lovely and very affordable. It's a gem!
