Hotel Ursala is a wonderful little place with a friendly staff that directly engaged me with smiles and helpfulness daily. Located in a remote little town that offers a couple of wonderful restaurants, but I did not notice any shops or grocers, though I'm sure there are one or two around. The seemingly recently upgraded/painted room accommodates three people, but it would be tight while moving round, especially with large bags. The flat screen TV offered dozens of clear local/regional channels, but seemingly lacked an international section or English. The room had A/C but I never used it. A slightly slated lockable door allowed ventilation to the fresh night air. The floor is concrete/hard surface. The bathroom offered decent counter space and power outlet. A fluorescent light for the vanity is covered by a panel that shadows your body above 1.5m unless leaning lower over the vanity. A strong shower with plenty of hot water with large, fresh towels. The roomy closet has hangers and shelves. The hotel has on-site free parking. The hotel offers breakfast for 9 euros. The breakfast was mostly bread-based items with jams, spreads, and toppings. A small plate of thin sliced cold cuts, two cereal dispensers, and some fruits accompanies the bread selection along with juices, waters, coffees and teas. I did not notice anything like bacon, eggs or waffle/pancake items. The hotel staff was amazing! I felt more like family than an outsider. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
