The resort is old and tired, no upgrades have been done. No air conditioning, so the rooms are extremely hot. The ceiling fan was noisy, so we couldn't even use that. The food in the restaurant is average and over priced.

What a lovely serene place to stay! The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Highlight would be the service and food at the Geyser Bar - Food was top notch and the staff were wonderful. Highly recommend. Facilities were great as well with the heated pool being a definite bonus.

Very nice stay! And a short drive to the shopping area in taupo as well as the falls and craters of the moon. The floors where creaky and noisy though, and there was only two guest accessible washing machines for the entire compound, which where both confusing to locate and constantly in use.
