Poor hotel experience
When I called to check availability I spoke with Sherry who was very pleasant. I asked if connecting rooms were a possibility and she said yes that we would have to book one queen room and one double room. Because I get rewards on hotels.com I booked through the app and wrote down I needed connecting rooms. Sherry said they would see the note and make sure to give us connecting rooms. Upon arrival Caleb provides me the keys and I ask if they are connecting. He says they aren’t and that they don’t have any connecting rooms. I explain that Sherry assured me they would be because I have my four kids. He wasn’t helpful and pretty much said oh well we’re booked this is what you have. Very inconvenient as two of my kids had to sleep three rooms away alone. Also lots of noise from the train passing and not comfortable beds. I requested non smoking and the rooms were saturated with smoke smell.
