In general I like this hotel. It was my second stay there. They have a lovely breakfast and the area is very good for both walkability and transportation. I did have an issue with the curtains in my superior room. They would not close over the dramatic double height window, so sleeping was going to be a problem. They were only able to downgrade my room due to current availability, but I did have a good nights sleep and I would recommend room 403, which is a standard double.

Stayed for one night and it was just what we needed. In a safe area and a 15-20 minute walk to all the main sights. Staff was friendly and prompt. Would stay again for a short term trip as the rooms are very small, especially for two people.

It was really great the staff were excellent, only 1 problem the bathrooms are incredibly tiny even smaller than those on cruise ships. Also they didn’t have soap dispensers, foot rest and water leaked out whilst showering. They did provide the tubes with liquid soap but nowhere to put them whilst showering so you had to put it on the floor. When you went to pick it up you then would hit your head on something or get in contact with the walls.

Great two-night stay in the middle of Milan ❤️
We had a fantastic two-night stay at Avani. The breakfast was good, freshly made, and diverse, but the restaurant itself was dark and in need of cleaning. The rooms are small but work perfectly. The hotel is placed in the center of Milan and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. However, please note that parking is quite expensive (40 euros per day!).

The hotel is in a good location. However, there was a lot of noise coming in from the main street as well as other guests could easily be heard walking in and out of rooms. Also, the bed sheets were not changed during the entire stay.
