Needs a vacuuming
We stayed at the Moxy the very first weekend it was open, and we were impressed. I understand it is not opening weekend, but my wife and I noticed the carpet on our floor to not be vacuumed.

The best stay!
The best! We absolutely loved this hotel. We were coming from Chicago and wanted to try something new and this was perfect. The hotel had the coolest vibe, great location, street parking, awesome lounge areas and the rooms were great and modern. The staff were very accommodating and even offered us free gummy bears (win!) We will definitely be back. My old suggestion would be to have a small fridge in the rooms. That’s the only thing we missed!

8/10 Very Good

Cozy But Cute!
The rooms here are VERY small (like there isn’t even room for a dresser or desk small), but they’re decorated really fun and are good for a weekend getaway for just 1-2 people! There are a few bars, restaurants, and concert venues within a short walking distance of the hotel, and hotel staff was very friendly! You get a token for a free drink (alcoholic or non) when you check in, which is really fun - their house cocktail is light and delicious! Just beware - you MUST check out with the front desk before leaving otherwise they will charge you a fine of over $1,000!!! It was a unique stay for sure, but we had a really great time.

10/10 if attending a show @ The Sylvee
Great service! We got to town at 1:30 and check in was supposed to be at 4 and they gave us early check in which was greatly appreciated! Room is small but comfortable. Bathroom and shower were great! The only thing that was disappointing was lack of a refrigerator in the room which isn’t super convenient when traveling. But that was also my fault for not realizing when booking. Parking was easy. We did self parking in the parking garage behind the hotel. It was cheap and easy to access. The neighborhood felt safe and the streets were clean and everything was beautiful. If attending a show at The Sylvee this hotel is a must. It’s directly next door! Also, the lobby was so cool and inviting and smelled amazing! 10/10

Will search out Moxy Hotels in the future!
This was our first time staying at a Moxy hotel and we will definitely search them out from here on out. I never been into a hotel that matched my personality before, this one did!! And it was awesome. Sort of hostile set up, not alot of luxuries, but it was perfect!! Neat, tidy, great vibe! I have never wanted to hang out in a hotel lobby after a show before and we played a game and had drinks from the bar after our rockshow! 10/10 experience! Staff was awesome! Rooms were small but perfect!

6/10 Good

Liked how the two beds were separated by the bathroom, it felt like separate bedrooms. Having a large tv in each bedroom area was very nice. We thought the elevator security was nice - having to use room key to go up from the lobby. Valets, when asked for walking directions to a local pub, gave directions going the longest walking directions possible! Not happy with that as we are 86 and 75 years old with walking difficulties (one of us was using a walker). The breakfast menu was very minimal, and the least expensive items were $10.00. My husband asked if he could have a piece of toast only and they told us they had no bread. No restaurants in the area is what we were told. We were told the hotel is "one step above a frat house" by other guests. We are not used to going to hotels with no pool, no ironing boards and no in room small refrigerators, and breakfast. All are perks we (and others in or block of rooms) enjoy. We were there because of the closeness to a wedding venue. Will not stay there again and the pros did not outweigh the cons.

Would stay again!
We loved it. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked the minimalist design and the staff were all super helpful and friendly. The location was perfect with lots of great stuff nearby. There’s construction happening in the neighborhood but it was still very quiet in the hotel and in our room. We would absolutely stay here again.
