This hotel is a real "find." In a city that is otherwise bustling and noisy, this neighbourhood is an oasis of calm and quiet, with parks and gardens. Our room was relatively large and comfortable, and the hotel reception and other staff are efficient, friendly, and very helpful. The only.draw-back is that there is no restaurant except for breakfast.

Made us feel like we were Roman!
Very lovely room. Everything appeared new. The breakfast was quintessentially European and very tasty. Staff members at the reception desk and in the breakfast area were pleasant and helpful. Only “minus” was that the bed and the pillows were hard, but I find that to be the case in most hotels I’ve stayed in. I would happily return to the Hitel Delle Civette.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It’s safe, convenient to the metro and bus lines. You can reach the city center via public transport. The hotel is an oasis away from the busyness of downtown. I did not have enough time but there is a lovely terrace and garden parks nearby. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you need to get back to your hotel after the day of sightseeing, then a more centrally located hotel might be better. But if you are going to be out all day have dinner and a gelato, then come back to the oasis, this is the perfect place.

It is a lovely old Italian building with lots of character. Staff are lovely and helpful. Rooms are a generous size and breakfast included was nice. It is a long walk into Rome so be prepared to Uber or use bus/metro which are close (both where extremely unreliable). There are nice restaurants and bars about a 10 min walk away. If you don't like noise this hotel is not for you as you can hear your neighbours and all the hallway noise. Roof top terrace is a nice touch to relax at the end of a day.

It was our first time in Italy and we could not fault the hotel whatsoever! The room was beautiful and large, the views were stunning, the facilities were on point and the breakfast/bar area was spot on. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, as it was our first time in Italy we were a little bit nervous about not knowing the area we were in but they were so courteous and attentive! A handicapped bathroom whose pipes absolutely reeked. Not a single bottle of water without paying. Not a single biscuit in the room, but there were tea bags. The bar was a cafeteria!! This property is perfect respite after the hustle and bustle of all the city excursions. It is one or two metro rides from the main attractions. Breakfast was sufficient to start you the day. Wednesday to Sunday they have roof top light meal dinning and I bought a bottle of wine since it was so good. The winery has history connected with the hotel. Please ask the history of the hotel. I was so happy to hear it 💕
