When we arrived there was no doorbell. I had to call twice, international rates, before someone answered and let me in. The woman who greeted us brought us to the room. After 20 min we were asked to check in. That was the last we saw of anyone. There was no one ever at the desk and no way to contact them except for an international rate phone call. That is how we found out how to check out, we called and they said to leave the card on the desk.
The room was small but nice with a comfortable bed. Unfortunately, the curtains were so thin that the light came in as soon as the sun was up. The safe was locked and no way to use it. There were no staff available to ask about opening it. The worst, we thought was that unless you pay an extra 4€, you have to use the same towels for 3 days.
The location is far from the main part of Rome. At least 21€ cab ride.
