The rooftop bar lounge breakfast area is unique in giving a real closeness to the life in this quite rundown part of the old city. Amazing views. I loved it. Interior is very modern, staff helpful. Within stones throw of one outstanding restaurant and another good cafe restaurant. The old square is just a few minutes walk, too.

The place is an amazing 1900 old house but very well restaured. There are a lot of stairs but they are REALLY helpful and carry all your bags when you enter. In general we loved staying there mainly for the cleaning of the place and the super friendly and helpful staff. Other positive points: Great AC in the room and very spacious (high ceiling) Support with money exchange (fair price) VERY CLEAN Taimi is the recepcionist that will make you feel very loved and taken care of Points to be aware: No power generator and we suffer a lack of energy 3 times in 2 days The surroundings looks a bit scary, but if you walk 3 streets this feeling changes, but not good for go out at night

A hidden diamond.
The communication before arrival was very good, I received good advice and they organised a taxi pick at the airport - taxi ride was about 35mns for 35USD/ Euro. I arrived at night and everything looked very "ghetto-ish" the streets were dirty, collapsed buildings ... but the hotel door already looked reassuring and as soon as you step into the hotel - Wow! It's absolutely stunning. The very high ceilings, the dark wood, the quality of the furnishings (modern but authentic at the same time) and having breakfast on the rooftop terrace is a must. If you are very hungry, you will need to eat again afterwards but for most people it's enough and healthy too. Some fresh fruits, eggs (as you want them omelet, fried, scrambled etc...), a couple of toasts, freshly made juice, coffee or tea and a couple of very tasty - but very tiny (the size of a potato crip lol) - pancakes. The staff is super friendly, the only few issues I found is that although I was told that I could change money at the hotel, it wasn't possible. I also needed to have something printed, and there is no "office" onsite. I was also informed that I could get a SIM card nearby however when I asked where I should go, I was told there was nothing and I should have gotten one at the airport. Anyway, this didn’t spoil the stay and I would definitely go back. Location is perfect as 6mns walk to Placa Vieja, right by the port, plenty of sightseeing to be done.

Great Casa Particular. Highly recommend.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Great breakfast everyday of eggs (however you like them), fresh fruit, fresh squeezed juices and coffee. They offer snacks and sandwiches too. My room was comfortable with good ac and shower. Convenient location, I walked most places in Centro Havana from here.

Nice and comfortable
A fresh, newly renovated hostel with very nice staff. Free Internet and good breakfast. You can walk to town and restaurants so it's smooth. The only negative is that it is incredibly responsive. But there are many places in Central America, so bring earplugs if you can't sleep when there is a lot of noise. I highly recommend staying here and would love to come back. ​

5 stars is not enough to rate this property. The kindness, professionalism and sincere care of the staff is probably the best we have ever encountered traveling. We left sad as we were leaving a family. The casa is absolutely perfect, beautiful stylish, pure elegant design, always spotless! Rooms extremely comfortable, ours #1 was a gem, spacious bathroom and the amazing shower was divine! AC , safe in the room. Amenities are cozy beautiful. Breakfast was a delight, yummy juices, fruits, eggs, compote. It felt safe even though the neighborhood is quite in a poorer area in the Havana Vieja , we liked that it was locals around, real Habana not a tourist trap, and they were all very sweet, felt super safe to walk at night. We highly recommend this property, their communication before the stay was also seamless, they responded immediately to all my texts. I cannot wait to go back ! Excelente opção de estadia em Havana. Muito confortável e bom café da manhã. Funcionários e o dono muito atenciosos. Bem perto da Plaza Vieja e de várias atrações da Havana. Tudo se faz tranquilamente andando. A noite, não vi nada, mas preferi voltar de bicitaxi ou outro meio de transporte. Recomendo.
