Very loud hammering, due to construction on the building. starting at 7:30 am. Trains passing by kept us up. Bedding smelt like body odor and needed to be replaced. Bkfst not good. scrambled eggs cooked in crock pot and appeared black n color. Front desk attendant nice.

Ugh!
The hotel is beautiful and was overall very clean. However, the day we arrived, the manager and several employees had walked out, leaving the man at the front desk (on his first day!) to run the hotel. Not only was our room not ready by checkin time, but we ultimately ended up cleaning our own room, changing our own sheets, etc. The man at the desk was amazing, but in way over his head. He needs a raise, the owner needs to figure out his employee morale problem, and our room should have been comped.

At check in we were told our room wasn't ready and to allow them an hour because they are running behind. We went back 5 hours later because we attended a wedding and walked into a dirty room! We canceled and went home. All hotel guest we encountered had the same experience. Unacceptable!

"Very nice place very clean bedding soft and smells nice towels were soft not stiff or crunchy smelt like fresh laundry not cleaner bed was comfy for me not so much for my husband but he is very picky about beds service was great no issues no concern lobby was clean and each floor was clean too had a sanitizer and wipes thru out the lobby area and a cleaning station as you walk in even had boot scrapers outside"
