We chose this Hampton Inn which was part of 5 night trip with stays in other Hampton Inn hotels based on its reputation for quality and service, but unfortunately, our experience did not meet those expectations.
From the moment we checked in, our stay was disrupted by excessive noise. A dog across the hall began whining when its owner was gone and later barked persistently until he returned. Adding to this, a family with children was placed directly above our room. The children ran and jumped for at least 30 minutes around 11 p.m., disturbing the peace we had hoped for after a long day of travel. The commotion resumed early the next morning around 6:00 a.m., well before we were up.
Additionally, we were disappointed by the lack of assistance from the front desk staff when we asked for help tuning into the NFL football game that evening. I have to give them credit though for following up to settle down the family above us within 30 minutes, but I don't understand why when they would even put them directly above us when the hotel wasn't full and our profile should have indicated we prefer a higher floor.
Despite our efforts to resolve these issues with your team, we were told the manager wasn’t available, and although I requested a follow-up call to discuss our concerns, I never received one.
