Atar hotel.
Comfortable warm and modern, The hotel does not have a restaurant so food has to ordered from a local restaurant. Not much of a breakfast selection either. 2 slices of orange 4 slices of cucumber, 1 boiled egg, bread and some lettuce. There is a couple of shops and other restaurants within 10min walking distance. It isn’t bad for an overnight stay. We didn’t get to use the spa facilities so we cannot comment. The staff were friendly. If you don’t mind planes flying overhead and traffic noise then it’s ok. But it is an airport hotel.

It’s a very good hotel close to the Istanbul airport. We stayed for a night to catch the next morning flight. Bed was comfortable and the linens were excellent. The room decor and furnishings were new and tastefully done. We ordered dinner thru the hotel and it was promptly brought in. Shower was hot and bathroom was clean. Great value if you plan to spend a day. The one negative was the small size of the room. Didn’t matter to us as we were there only for the night. If you plan to stay more nights, choose a bigger room.

Ok-ish for the value.
The hotel was alright for a quick transit. Closer to the airport and far from downtown. The distance was great for the transit flights. The room I had in the first floor was severely reduced in price. There were works going on outside I think. Every time someone from the second floor level flushed the toilet both the noise and the smell came through via my room toilet. Other than that it was quiet. Tv without a remote. Food menu available but outsourced and delivered by the courier. Running hot water at least.

Rooms are certainly not soundproof. When I first got there, I had no water for sink or shower, but this was quickly remedied. I then ordered food, but it came with no cutlery or napkins. I called the desk, and the guy came up to see what I meant - did I want a spoon? No, a knife and fork. The hotel is obviously new, so everything worked (other than initially no water). Staff were helpful.

The hotel itself is fine. The area is not. Only recommend if you get a good price on it and you really are just there for a very quick overnight stay. Taxi is around 350-400 Lira to/from the airport, which is obviously a lot cheaper than taking a taxi into town (unless you land and take-off at a reasonable time and can use the metro).

When I arrived late at night, the receptionist told me, that the room, I booked, was flooded because of recent rain, and that they arranged a room in different hotel for me. They ordered taxi free of charge and delivered me to another hotel, about 10 - 15 min drive.

Our room’s flooded after taking a shower. We asked them to fix the clog. They said they fixed it while we were away, but we had the same problem still. We could not turn off a light and they had to come and fix it and lights randomly turned on in the middle of the night. The toilet was too high. So overall the property condition was not good IMO. But, it was clean and the service was attentive.

Overall pleasant as newly built small hotel. However the double room just about fits the double bed. Greeted by pleasant Nusnet who could not speak English but smiling and helped with luggage. Receptionist Latif asked for more money but he quickly realised I had already paid in full. TV didn't work in my double room and so I was moved to an adjacent double room. This was more spacious and the TV turned on but the remote control didn't work even with new batteries. Nusnet helped in trying to get it to work with multiple other remote controls. Latif seemed confident in that the TV would work with the remote control that belonged to a different TV in reception. He was wrong. Another staff, who appeared in my room in shorts and TShirt, Mesih managed to move move the curser along the different apps on the TV but this was temperamental. The remote control had to be angulated in a certain way when trying to get it to work. After all this, there is no Netflix subscription and other apps are Turkish. If you're wanting to chill for the night with snacks and TV, think again. Apparently all TVs in the hotel are problematic. Taxi drivers think they can charge what they like. It's between €8 to €10 euros equivalent to about 300 to 375 Liras maximum for the journey from IST International airport. Be mindful, if you're a light sleeper. In Arnavutköy, the planes fly over the village so it's loud. Toilet height more than normal. Fridge didn't turn cold overnight. Stray dogs.
