Nice staff but hotel is in need of lots of renovation. Bathrooms are very tiny, bath linens are fraying, management needs to sink some money into making it nice again.

Very quaint hotel. Nice to stay for a night or two. Clean but a little maintenance is due. Would stay there again.

We were disappointed in our stay…hotel is very dated and plays off the idea of “historic charm” due to a movie Giant, filmed there in 1965. Bedroom and bathroom are very small, very dated. We had to move rooms because our TV didn’t work and just were not impressed with the property.

The building itself is just way too old, but there aren't many modern accommodation choices around. The staff is really nice and the location is great. Walkable to restaurants and bars.

Check in was quick and easy and the front desk attendant was very helpful.
The room was plenty spacious for 2, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, but being an older hotel, you can hear neighbors and doors closing, so some kind of sound machine is advised.
We were disappointed that the restaurant wasn’t open for breakfast.

Liked the bar and restaurant downstairs. Sat in lobby area with the fireplace going enjoying the company of other guests at night.
