Probably the best hotel we've ever stayed in!
From the moment we arrived we were very impressed with this hotel, grounds and surroundings. From the friendly doorman to Dermot the concierge who took our bags, ordered our taxis etc, to the lovely receptionists and that was before we took in the beautiful decor, comfort and layout of bars and restaurants and before we got to our bedroom which was more like a suite as was huge with a lovely view of the estate. The food was excellent and it was lovely to chill in the little bar area at reception where they have a musician at the weekends. The pool area was lovely too and the whole place is spotless. It's rare to find such a place where everything was perfect from start to finish and we can't wait to go back and stay for longer!

It was a wonderful experience staying at the Lyrath. The gracious and helpful employees, the sublime surroundings, the delicious dinner at the steakhouse and our amazing room made our anniversary very memorable. We hope to be back every time we are home in Ireland visiting family. We absolutely loved our stay.

Not great value for money.
It’s genuinely the first hotel I’ve stayed in where you’re charged extra to use the spa facilities. Bedroom isn’t great, certainly not 5 star standard or even 4. Furniture needs to be upgraded badly in the room. We had three rooms for a family 60th and overall we regret the decision to stay as oppose to other options. Probably a personal criticism but the temperature in the hotel is also far too high. Had to leave dinner mid way through for sine air.
