This was my second visit to this hotel, and was looking forward to the amenities of gym and pool. However on the second night of a three night visit, the fire alarm went off sporadically from 11pm-2am. After the first three times, I dressed and went down to the lobby with other guests where we were then informed one of the alarms was broken and they had called for an engineer to fix. The next morning, I did not have hot water and found out this was due to the fire alarm tripping the boiler. While I appreciate these circumstances were out of staff control, there was poor communication with guest about the situations and that they were aware and working towards solutions.
However, they have a great eco-initiative where if you skip having your room cleaned (if you stay more than one night) you can get a €5 voucher for food. This is a great incentive and useful!
