It was much cleaner and well maintained than I was expecting, but there were some spots that showed the obvious age of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Very nice historic building, with all the usual hotel amenities, a better than average complimentary continental breakfast, and caring staff. As an older couple we found the 2 flights of stairs to our room challenging. The room was also extremely cold when we arrived and the electric heater unit took a long time to warm things up. There were no blankets and the coverlet was thin. Great Thai restaurant a block away.
