All that we expected
It was all that we expected of Campanile, cheap and cheerful, an ideal overnight stay close to the ferry. The evening meal was substantial and surprisingly good. Will stay here again if using Calais to Dover ferry

Not up to standard
On arrival, informed that the restaurant was not open due to lack of staff.
Broken shower head fitting, hence you had to hold the shower head.

Choose the B&B up the road, it's much nicer!
The receptionist gave us the feeling we were an inconvenience arriving and needing to check in. She was rude to the customer infront of us when he asked for some drinks from the fridge. She did not greet us with any pleasantries and would not encourage me to ever return to this hotel.
Apart from this, the desk light was broken, the room smelt of smoke, there was a large hole in the bathroom where a vent grill had fallen out. The car park has insufficient places, the gates are not locked at night and guests are allowed to park so close to other cars it is ridiculous as you can't get into your own car

Don’t stay here unless it’s less than 40€!
The only 2 positives were, friendly member of staff on reception and a fairly decent breakfast.
This hotel needs completely refurbishing.
It is an absolute dump!
Generally, you get what you pay for, but £112 per night definitely wasn’t value for money!
Desperation was our only reason for booking!
We needed somewhere near the tunnel, with parking.

Ideal for an overnight stay.
Close to the Port, ideal hotel to stay the night before continuing with our onward journey. Room was clean, breakfast in the morning was continental, plenty to choose from. Would stay here again.

Poor old hotel rooms looking a bit tired and worn out. But clean and comfortable enough and great staff. Bar/restaurant on site is a bonus and easy run to the ferry.

Great pit stop after late night ferry
Arrived late and staff were helpful as car park was full.
Room was comfortable if a little dated. Shower was fine.
Breakfast was good. Continental only but plenty to keep you going.

Could have done better!
This place was very economical and only for one night so no complaint made at time, but! No wifi, no tv and a table lamp was in a very poor condition. Calais is void of any quality restaurants and the hotel didnt have a cook. Stop 20 miles from Calais for your ferry.
