Disappointing breakfast
This recent trip to the Radisson disappointed me when compared to my last stay. I'd no robe or slippers in the room which are invaluable when attending the pool. The steam room was closed. Apple juice poured from a carton for my children was €3.75 a glass. I understand profit margins but this seemed excessive. But my main disappointment was with breakfast. I'd no issue queuing. It was a busy morning but the food area was a mess. Cereal scattered, hot chocolate powder all over the counter and 2 empty jars, discarded coffee cups. Hardly any meats or cheese or pastries . It seemed that no one was restocking or cleaning . It was actually off putting. Maybe we were just unlucky that morning . I have to say though reception staff were lovely and gave me an extra camp bed for my teenage son as we had 2x doubles. I also think the seating off the foyer is great in the evening when you've a family rather than sitting in the bar.

Not worth the money
Pros: good location, clean, staff are great, bar and restaurant food is good, decent pool and gym with good opening hours. Cons: very noisy, and seems to attract some questionable clientele, there were issues with loud drunk people all through the nights and an incidence of violence which kept us awake and frightened our child. Very obviously focused on cost saving, there were no extras that you would expect at a hotel advertising as the level it is or for the money they charge. No robes in room for the pool, no extra amenities in the room, the hand soap is screwed to the wall like a public bathroom. While the food in the bar and restaurant was good the breakfast was of poor quality and they were not generous in the variety or quantity of food that was available. They are very focused on not cleaning your room and there are multiple door handle signs provided in the room encouraging you to skip getting it cleaned. My room was cleaned the first day but not the second even though I left a sign out to say please clean the room. I was out all day and came back in the evening and it was realisticly too late to bother requesting it be cleaned. My advice if you don’t need to have a gym or pool save your money and book a nice 3 star or b&b the quality will be higher and you will get a good night sleep.

Average, fine for work visit
1- sheet on bed was to small and come off during sleep which is uncomfortable 2- both evenings in restaurant staff were forgetful, took a while to order, refill of water was forgot both nights, charcuterie board is below average for the price, jars olives and toasted wheaten, meats are clearly just sandwich fillings, not worth the money. Second night, steak was dreadful quality and again staff forgot that we asked for dessert menu, so we gave up after 20 mins, we would of got dessert and more drinks if staff were better. Over all just lacking in important areas

2/10 Poor

Hotel is dated, ie musty stained old carpets in even the "business class" room. Fridge did not work but this was not obvious on arrival which meant the food/drinks we brought along did not stay fresh. Hotel was painting stairway during our stay which resulted in noxious fumes drifting into our room overnight. Bad headache as a result. Minimal vegetarian options on bar/restaurant menu, just two entrees which didn't seem appetizing. Second bed in 4 person room was terrible, smooshy air-type mattress that felt like an afterthought. Really could not sleep a couple on that second bed. Breakfast inexplicably doesn't open until 7:30a on weekends, inconvenient for travelers getting on the road to the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful.
