Stayed here for a night while over to watch a MMA fight night, the hotel was more than comfortable for a lovely nights sleep, room was large and the bathroom was clean but not that modern. Bit of road noise if your room is on the road side but you’re in a city, it’s to be expected. Reception also is open 24hrs and has baskets with extra tea, coffee etc for your room which was really nice

It was ‘ok’!
Hotel was ‘ok’. Staff were very friendly on check-in and out, and cleaning staff in the morning were lovely. The hotel is very dated and could do with an upgrade. My room was clean, but was definitely showing its age. Bed was really uncomfortable- could feel every spring in the mattress. Could hear people walking above me and every word from the room next door. For my purposes of a ‘bed for the night’ it was fine.

I have stayed here numerous times to go to Bongos Bingo as it is only a short distance walk to cains brewary. The hotel is clean but the rooms could do with an update but can’t complain when we get a good price . The reception area, bar and restaurant are lovely and the food is great. Parking being free is also a real bonus
