Our stay was okay. The location was certainly easy to get to. It was also very convenient as we were attending a comedy event in The Basement. The staff was friendly and check-in was super easy. They've done some renos in terms of a facelift, but it's still a bit tired. We could hear music from the club late at night but it was just very soft background noise so it was okay.

This was a horrible experience, please advise travellers no elevator for elderly or disabled, run down on the exterior, dated on the interior, but the most disgusting and gross was in the room itself, upon inspection of the bed it was found to have blood spots on the sheets, checking further found the mattresses was not in an encasement, we lifted the mattress cover to see a huge 1foot x 18 inch at least blood stain, you could see the mattress was dirty around the button holes were little black spots,(god knows if these were bed bugs, but we were not sticking around to see) we took photos, and immediately returned to the front desk, to explain that we were NOT staying and requested our money back, being told it would take 3-5 business days (unreal) This was deplorable conditions to expect a person to stay let alone pay for, now we have to wait our money to be refunded, which is a financial inconvenience, as we had to find other accommodation elsewhere, which we then paid for a safe clean stay. I would like to know what will be done for us, in compensation regarding the financial imposition…….. and then us having to spend three hours looking for other accommodation in a extremely busy booked city on short notice and no discounts available. Again very upset! We feel extremely deceived on the description provided!! This stay will never be recommended traveller's beware!!!!
