The inn was simple but clean and effective. It is next to a bar and a restaurant (one of which is my favorite in San Clemente) so its great for if you need somewhere clean and nice to stay.

Place is ok, seems like a branding bait and switch. The listing says Americas Best Value Inn but the marque is “Budget Motel” It’s was just ok for me and would I stay again it would be a no for me.

We were there for a ball tournament. There were numerous restaurants within a very short walk of the hotel. Ralphs, a grocery store, was 2 blocks away. Very convenient to the ballpark.

The motel was fine for our 1 night stay. The man who checked us in was super slow. We were the only ones checking in and it took us 22 minutes from the time he started to help us, until we received our room keys. It was just weird. He never smiled. Unfortunately, when you're received like that, it makes for a bad 1st impression.

Basic but good
The soap bars are the little chalky single use ones and no hair conditioner. Super simple and clean. People in office nice. Worked for a quick stay for sleep and go.

If you’re just looking for a really nice clean room and don’t care about a pool, this is the place. The location is great - the city trolly stops right there and is an easy ride to the beach and shopping. The room was beautiful, and the manager was so nice, too. Overall a great place - just no pool.

We had a great stay. Room was clean and spacious. Area is quiet even when the freeway runs near by. Bed is not the greatest but does the job. Close to many places to eat, shop and the beach.
Over all we definitely be back for another quick get away.

It served my purposes
THe hotel was clean. THey were stingy with their towels, but what they had were sufficient. A hotel is just a place for me to sleep in. I don't need anything fancy. This accomplished that.

Parking available in the garage, it's limited but we didn't have any trouble. The room was a nice size, and quiet. There's no coverings on some of the windows so the morning light came right in. The manager was very nice.
