The location of this property is excellent for access to the Chia beaches. Beautiful resort style grounds, with great amenities for families and adults. Excellent breakfast and dinner. If you want to relax Sardinian style, this is the place to go.

This was the perfect family holiday. Chia Laguna - Hotel Village is perfect for families with young kids. The staff and kids club were just brilliant. Great food on the half board basis, good size room with nice bathrooms and really comfy beds. Property is well looked after and the pools and beach are fantastic. Would recommend and would definitely return for an easy, fun and relaxing family trip.

Buffet was good but no other dining options
Checkin - we were early at the resort but the hotel could not facilitate slightly earlier checkin so hanging around for 3/4 hours was tiring specially having left UK at very early hours !!

We liked the friendly family atmosphere of the hotel. The dining areas were modern and the food was excellent. The staff could not do enough to help us with anything we needed...eg a missing towel in the room etc
The transport to the beach was really easy and ran every 15 mins. There were always sun loungers available both at the pool and beach which made it very relaxed.
We didnt like that we had to pay for water at mealtimes 4 euros for a small bottle 500mls) which is quite steep and all drinks were quite expensive. 7 euris for basic glass of rose wine.
Our initial family room was dark with some mould around the bath but we were moved to a much nicer room when we were complained which was 2 rooms on split level which was qhat we thought we had booked originally anyway? It was 10 times better than the first room.

The service was ok but I had higher expectations. There was no iron and iron board. Breakfast was ok but no options for vegans. The taxi from the hotel to the airport was 130 Euro. This was not an independent taxi company but a service from the hotel. Staff, especially at breakfast can’t speak English. So my experience was rather disappointing.

This property is very different from how it's portrayed on their website. Given the high nightly rate, I felt our stay wasn't worth the cost. While it's great that breakfast, dinner, and children's activities are included, there were some significant drawbacks.
Breakfast is served at 7:30 AM, but there's no way to get coffee outside of that time. They also have a very strict no take-away policy, which can be quite uncomfortable. For example, I have an infant who was often asleep during breakfast hours, so I wanted to bring some food back to him, but this was discouraged.
In another instance, when my friends and family were dining in the children's area, a friend of mine—who is a paying guest—was actually reprimanded for eating food from his son's plate, food that likely would have gone to waste. Additionally, it was disappointing to have to pay for flat water at a resort that's already so expensive. There should be water filling stations readily available to guests.
On the positive side, the children's program is excellent, and the staff running it are phenomenal. The beach of course is beautiful and the hotel did a good job of offering towels, lounge chairs, and umbrellas.

Check-in was rommelig. Expedia gaf 14:00 aan, maar we mochten pas tussen 14:00–16:00 naar de kamer. We zouden gebeld worden zodra het klaar was, maar dat gebeurde niet. De medewerker bij de receptie was onvriendelijk en totaal niet gastvrij. Geen welkom, geen interesse, geen drankje ondanks de hitte. Toen ik vroeg of de kamer goed was, kreeg ik een bot antwoord: “Dit is de kamer die u geboekt heeft.”
De kamer ligt ver van alles, is schoon maar erg basic. Geen koffiezetapparaat, geen waterkoker, geen strijkijzer, geen gratis water – alleen kleine flesjes voor €3. Echt teleurstellend.
Het ontbijt was mager, met weinig keuze – zeker als je geen varkensvlees eet. Waterdispensers waren vaak leeg, koffie was ronduit slecht. En dat in Italië, het land van goede koffie?
Het avondeten was ook een tegenvaller. Elke dag harde, smakeloze pasta met weinig variatie. Voor water moest je betalen. Er zijn twee andere restaurants, maar alleen tegen bijbetaling. Alles lijkt hier ingericht om je zoveel mogelijk geld afhandig te maken: €3,50 voor een bolletje ijs, €3,50 voor een mini (half verbrande) popcorn, €8 voor frietjes. Lunch? Reken op zo’n €40 per persoon.
Dit zou een familiehotel moeten zijn, maar het voelt vooral als een commercieel uitgemolken resort. Geen aanrader.

Das village war sehr schön aufgebaut. Die Zimmer sind nix besonderes und entsprechen auch nicht den Bildern online..der Aufpreis für das garden cottage war umsonst. Der garten ist kein garten und ungemütlich und das Gras war vertrocknet.
