Staff are fabulous. It’s a very old building and could do with some upgrades but the dog friendly atmosphere is unbeatable. Very impressed with the way they handled things during the Crufts week. Hotel was "fine" for what I wanted - a clean cost effective place close to a business need the next day. Check in was a bit of a chore with reminders emailed during the day and then a request to fill in the same data on arrival. Room functional but no doubt a bit dated and tired. Definitely clean. I'd booked a double bed but got 2 singles pushed together. Parking easy and close. Breakfast was fine. TV and ents in the room probably better than I'd expect. Overall for the price it was fine. I'd stay there again.

It would have been nice to have been in formed that there was a boxing event taking place on the night of our stay, we stayed at hotel as we were flying from Birmingham airport on the Sunday morning, as it was we had no sleep with banging doors and shouting and screaming all night.
