This was a simple hotel but clean, air conditioned, relatively comfortable beds and quiet despite location. I found staff pleasant in a basic sense and helpful when I asked for directions or assistance navigating public transit, which I found unnecessarily confusing (especially airport options). Rooms are basic, but I liked that I could open the window for fresh air, and small touches like the slippers. There is a small fridge dedicated to the mini bar so don’t expect to have use of it. TV channels are basic and mainly local. Hotel location is perfect with a 10 minute brisk walk to Karlsplatz and a U1 subway station right across the hotel entrance. Elevator bank for the same subway station entrance is located about 30 yards further down the street. Overall, a pleasant stay for in/out and quiet sleeping location.
