Enjoyed the room but....
The hotel staff spoke English and were extremely nice and the room was cleaned daily. They started renovations the week I was there and I'm really curious to see what improvements they make. My only complaint was there wasn't a minifridge or microwave in the room. I'm sure that is more of an American thing but it would have been nice to be able to keep drinks cold.

Goed hotel, bereikbaarheid vanaf station minder.
Prima verblijf, goede kamer en nette kamer. Ook een goed verblijf. Er was wel een nadeel. Vanaf het station is het hotel alleen te bereiken via een hoge voetgangersbrug met een flinke trap. Ik was onderweg met een zware koffer vol boeken. Dat viel niet mee.

Ordentliches Hotel mit kooperativen Personal
Wir reisten bereits um 7:30 an und konnten an der Rezeption unsere 3 großen Koffer unterstellen. Vielen Dank dafür. Meine Ehefrau checkte dann am Nachmittag zur üblichen Zeit ein. Der Blick war Richtung Straße, war unser Wunsch wegen der Bahnstrecke hinter dem Hotel. Die Umgebung ist wenig vertrauenserweckend mit Betriebsgeländen und Hallen. Ca 10 Minuten Gehstrecke entfernt ist ein Einkaufscenturm ( Phönix ), geöfffnet bis 20h, Sonntags geschlossen . Hinweis: Es gibt zwei Möglichkeiten vom S- Bahnhof Harburg zur Unterkunft zu gelagen. Wir empfehlen über den Beginn der Hannoversche Brücke bis zur Ampel und dann links die Straße hinunter zu gehen, da sich hier keine Treppen befinden und nur wenig länger als der Weg über die Buxtehuder Straße ( entlang des Einkaufscenter ), wo man eine vielstufige Hochbrücke bewältigen muß ( hier führt Gooogle Maps einen entlang ). Gut geschlafen haben wir zu viert in einem geräumigen Zimmer mit modernem Bad, ein Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt und gebucht, da es auf ein Kreuzfahrtschiff ging. Einziges Manko war ein Gerüst an der Hotelfassade.Das Vorhandensein erfuhr man erst vor Ort - hätte aber an der Hotelauswahl nichts geändert. Auswahlkriterium war neben dem Preis ( 108 Euro / 4 Personen zzgl. Übernachtungssteuer ) die S-Bahnlage um über den Bahnhof Veddel ( 2 Stationen ) mit anschließenem Bus öffentlich zum Kreuzfahrt Terminal Steinwerder zu kommen. Gerne wieder!

Toller Aufenthaltsort um von dort aus Hamburg zu erkunden. Ein paar Restaurant in der Nachbarschaft und auch ein Edeka. Familienzimmer hat für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder auch super gepasst. Frühstück top! Gern wieder!

Handige locatie voor 1 nacht tijdens doorreis. Prima kamer voor gezin, bedden waren comfortabel. Genoeg restaurants in de buurt. Als je met de loopbrug over het spoor gaat, kom je in een wijk met voornamelijk Turkse winkels en bakkers, handig voor het ontbijt (ontbijt van het hotel hebben we overgeslagen, zag er te beperkt uit voor dat geld). Helaas was het meeste dicht op de zondag (dag dat we aankwamen).
