Not a family friendly place
We have stayed with hotel Birke last year, which was good. This time however, the experience was very bad.
We received a room, where there must have been some admin or the like above. There was a constant movement and the noise was very loud, which made it hard for us to fall asleep. Once asleep, we had the weirdest experience, as a man (likely an employee) barged in our room in the middle of the night. This woke my wife and made her very scared. He ran away and we barricaded the room for the rest of the night.
When we talked with the staff about this the following morning, they of course apologised and said it could have been a staff person who entered wrongly.
Also the staff in the pool, a gentleman was not really that friendly when he corrected our child, which was being very considerate in the pool.
In general the hotel gives a vibe that it has some good/upper class, but in reality the experience was very bad. This is a shame as we had gotten a good expression last year, but this time it was just bad.

For os opleves Hotel Birke, som at komme hjem til en venlig og rar atmosfære. Venligt personale og hyggelige værelser. Vi er kommet på hotellet igennem nogle år nu, er er vældig godt tilfredse. Som andre vil vi også gerne fremhæve morgenmaden, den er intet mindre end perfekt.
