Good location but no parking as advertised.
We only booked this hotel because it was advertised as having ‘parking available’ but it was general street parking - there was no designated parking which is obviously what we expected. There was no bedside cabinet on one side - so no lamp, and no way to turn out the light except to get out of bed. The table lamp we did have was very cheap looking and flickered. There was no mirror in the room - only in the bathroom and that misted up after our bath. The Jacuzzi bath was good, if a little noisy. Water pressure wasn’t great. Our room faced the road so lots of traffic noise for most of the night. Host was welcoming and polite.

Beautiful character property and garden area stunning. The host is a real true gentleman hes very kind and very friendly and approachable . Nothing is too much for him at all.we have stayed before and we will definitely be back again soon. We feel so at ease and relaxed and peaceful n safe . Very very convenient for everything you could want in a beautiful town like Leek . Perfect really honestly its beautiful n its very very reasonably priced. Lovely Independent Hotel with Exceptional Service
Stayed there for valentines, Nick upgraded us to a better room as we were a couple which was lovely. I had a tyre blowout the next morning and he couldn’t do enough to help. Sourced me another tyre and got us going again. What a gent - would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Nick was extremely helpful and made sure that everything was just right for us to enjoy our weekend stop-over in Leek. The Silk House is very well situated for all that Leek has to offer in terms of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. A perfect weekend and we will definitely stay again when we’re next in the area.
