Beautiful, tranquil setting surround by magnificent olive trees and close to things you want to do when staying in the area. Friendly staff attracted friendly guests. Some people stayed and relaxed in the hotel pools, spa and soaked up the Puglia sun in late October. Hotel was completely booked and we expected a mad house of activity. Rooms are spaciously set apart and enjoyed a quiet environment.

Kurzaufenthalt in Apuliens Herzen
Spontan gebucht, haben wir eine Nacht im Il Melograno verbracht. Das Hotel befindet sich unweit der Stadt Monopoli, ist sehr gepflegt und ausgezeichnet in Stand gehalten. Wir waren überrascht, dass die Anlage - trotz der Größe - nur über eine überschaubare Menge an Zimmern verfügt. Die Pool-Anlage wirkte sehr sauber und die Gärten (viele Oliven- und Orangenbäume) waren wunderschön. Die Zimmer waren - für unseren persönlichen Geschmack - zwar etwas alt (verglichen zu anderen Hotels in dieser Gegend), man merkte allerdings auch hier die Liebe zum Detail (Bademäntel, Slippers, Turn-Down-Service, persönliche Grußbotschaft beim Check-in). Leider war das Wetter während unseres Aufenthalts unerwartet schlecht, weshalb wir das Frühstück drinnen einnahmen. Der eigentliche Breakfast-Point (direkt neben dem Pool) wirkte hier deutlich einladender und bekam auch mehr Aufmerksamkeit des Personals. Über die Qualität des Frühstücks kann man allerdings nicht meckern. Insgesamt war es ein schöner Aufenthalt für uns.

Personale gentile e struttura gradevole.
Purtroppo non ci aspettavamo di trovare formiche in camera...capisco che la struttura sia immersa nel verde ma si dovrebbe trovare una soluzione definitiva per risolvere tale fastidiosa problematica (signore delle pulizie molto gentili e disponibili nel provare a risolvere il problema).
Poi dispiace non aver potuto usufruire della piscina al coperto e servizio SPA...avevo prenotato questa struttura (spendendo molto di più) sapendo del clima incerto e purtroppo mi sono ritrovato con la sola possibilità di usufruire della piscina all’aperto.
Ottima la qualità della colazione, ma dal mio punto di vista una struttura 5 stelle deve sempre avere tutto disponibile fino a chiusura, invece per ben 2 volte ho avuto una scelta limitata solo per essere arrivato in sala 30 minuti prima (e non sono pochi) della chiusura dell’orario di colazione.
Infine, a pranzo ho ordinato un’insalata di tonno che mi ha negativamente sorpreso data la pessima qualità dell’insalata (simile a busta del supermercato a 0,99€)...deludendo completamente le mie attese (visto il luogo, mi aspettavo un’insalata fresca del loro orto).
Nel complesso, una struttura da migliorare per il costo richiesto a notte.
