Very poor stay
The hotel does not let you know that they dont have car parking facilities until you have booked. They also do not tell you that the car park opposite hotel is £22.95 per night and the car park they alternatively offer which is some 7 mins walk away is still £6 per night. Tell the client upfront so that they can make an informed decision. I struggle with walking and have lots of equipment which I wouldnt want to walk 7 mins across leicester city centre with. The room heating was not working, I was scheduled to stay 3 night, I went down on day 1 to notify reception and they advised turn theromstat upto 30 and it should work, it did not and at night I was cold, I called reception at 2am no answer. I notified the front desk on day 2 and told them of this issue, they were apologetic and when I got to the room it was still not functional and another cold night was experienced. I brought this to the attention of the duty manager who fully refunded the 3 nights as he accpeted the hotel was totally to blame and provided a very poor perfomance for my trip. Also you only get notified after booking that the gym facilities are no longer available - just clients information upfront so we can make informed choices
