First, When we checked in they said they would text us when the room was ready. They didn't. Not a big deal. Second, weeks before our trip, we reserved a room with a queen bed but they gave us a room with two double beds. At first they said they couldn't help us because they were sold out in out in the category of queen beds. Finally, they gave a a small room with a king bed. Third, they apparently don't use sheets on the bed. They make the bed with a comforter, a sheet and a mattress pad. If you want to sleep using a sheet, you will need to sleep directly on the mattress pad. Hotels typically don't clean mattress pads often. We told them about the issue and they said they would correct it, but they never did. Forth, while using their hairdryer in the bathroom, the power went out in our room. Apparently, the hairdryer shorted out the room. Nothing in the room was on at the time. When the maintenance man finally fixed the issue, he said he had no idea what happened.
After we had power restored to the room, we complained about all of the issues were were having. The said they would waive the fees (which wasn't a lot) because of the issues. We accepted that because we typically don't complain but they really should have done more.
As I sit here today, I noticed that the hotel actually did charge us fees. It is only $22.89 but that isn't the point. We spent good money for a nice hotel and they should honor their word.
