Very small room simply decorated, even tinnier shower. Nice view from balcony. Long stairway to second floor rooms, don’t carry heavy baggage. Restaurants hard to find after dark, especially when you drive, impossible to turn into narrow lanes. Kaoshima has amazing museums, but biking and walking are best left for the young and healthy.

Simple logde at an amazing Naoshima. Close to the harbour so easy to get to. The room is big, nice wooden walls. But the three blocks of rooms, steep staircase and uncomfortable beds leaves me with the impressions that there must be better places at better value for money on the Island

Beautiful view, simple clean rooms. Peaceful stay. The staff was a little indifferent, you were on your own for luggage and transport up and down the hill. I stayed at another place where the staff were much more helpful and generous. Overall a nice stay though.
