Upon arrival, was underwhelmed by the staff…not very friendly or welcoming. When we saw our room which was a “garden view” I was shocked to see what looked like a war zone…there was no garden view to be seen. Called the reception three times yet phone kept disconnecting every time they answered. Finally someone came up to our room to ask if everything was ok, I shared my disappointment and was told they agreed with the lack of view and would try to find a different room. We were moved to the first floor which was no better but were promised a better room the next night. Needless to say, we did not sleep in what felt like a dungeon room but were moved to the fourth floor for night number two. This room was better but were surprised that no one asked us about our room etc. We asked for directions to the port and the staff were not exactly warm or helpful. The room smelled musty, especially the bathroom! On our final night, we called down to the reception to ask if they had a scale to weigh luggage and were told they would call back to let us know. No one called back! When we checked out this morning, we were asked to pay for the city tax and that was it…the service and lack of professionalism at this hotel was extremely disappointing!!
