The property is small with a decent sized pool. Our room was clean and just right for our overnight stay.
My only complaint is that the rear access to the lobby, by the pool, wasn't operational. Our key wasn't working initially so we had to walk around a couple of times.

La Copa is where I stay when I am visiting my family in McAllen in South Texas. It is next to the La Plaza mall with amazing shops, especially good around Black Friday sales and a varied food hall. One member of staff that stood out was Hector who was night manager when I arrived. Due to multiple delays on American Airlines we got the McAllen at 11:45 pm and by the time we got our luggage is was well past midnight and THERE WERE NO TAXIS! I called the hotel and spoke to Hector saying I was stuck at the airport and he arranged an Uber car to collect me on his account. I was collected in less than 15 minutes and eventually got to the hotel very late but safely! My room was very clean and comfortable. Thanks again to Hector!

They didnt have any hot water when we checked in on sat evening. Said hot water would return till mon morning.
I had also put in for a wheelchair accessible room and was not provided. Other than that the location is great. Right next to mall and couple of bars.

The place has a beautiful big pool with lots of space. The rooms are super clean. Rooms are dated but well taken care off. The mattress was a 7-10 acceptable.
The place is located seconds from the mall and lots of eating places and a Starbucks two blocks away. Overall I would stay here again.
