The Crown Inn is fantastic!
Our stay at The Crown Inn was wonderful. The staff were so attentive and helpful. We were there for a special occasion and they really did make it feel special. The accommodation was lovely - rustic yet so comfortable. Food was great, we ate at Hawkyns in the evening (would recommend) and the breakfast was really good. Would highly recommend The Crown Inn to anyone thinking of staying there.

Hoping for a reason to come back
Loved this hotel, the front desk staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was lovely, and the shower in particular was top notch. It's well located for Amersham Old Town and the train/tube station. The only let down for me was the breakfast, which was a mostly-cold full English with cardboard bacon and rubbery poached eggs one day, and an omelette that was clearly fresh and hot, but delayed by about 45 minutes because they were busy, the other day. Not bad enough to keep me away though, if I'm ever in Amersham again this is definitely where I'll be staying.

We loved the Crown Hotel in Amersham. The location is great. Service was excellent. The old Tudor style cabin room was unique and fun, good bed, nice bathroom with towel warmer.

It was largely nice but wouldn’t say it was value for money. There was a speaker in the room but was set up for an old iPhone and had no option for Bluetooth connection. Then there was the bar snack/tapas we had in the evening. The food was nice but v small portions so again didn’t feel great value for money. Lastly there was a light outside our room on all night which flooded into our room all night. Small details but when paying £200+ per night I’d expect more thought into things like the light and speaker.
