This hotel's low score (7.8) concerned me, but given my experience with Marriott, I thought I would try it for one night. I was more than pleasantly surprised by the experience, so much so that I give it a "10." The hotel is aged, but clean. I saw literature in the room indicating that renovations are imminent, which is good. The fitness center is first rate although one of the stairmasters did not work. The biggest plus for the hotel is its staff. I found everyone I encountered (lobby, restaurant) to be friendly, courteous, and eager to help. Parking situation is a bit confusing for a first-time visitor; I would encourage the staff to explain the process clearly so that patrons are not stuck at the gate trying to exit, frustrating not just the person at the gate but those patrons stuck behind that person.

Was at the hotel on business for a tradeshow. Said tradeshow was held here. The amenities for the training rooms and for where the vendor affair took place was fine. However, the rooms are very dated like 1980’s and so small. The refrigerator sat on the floor, not in a cabinet, no microwave. The light switch for the light in the hall is in the tiny mirrored closet, LOL. The beds were hard as a rock. The lighting is horrible. The water takes forever to get hot. The toilets are low riders the counter top in the bathroom too low and we were beside the cleaning closet so we could hear everything going on over there so the walls are paper thin. Staff were very friendly, the food was great.
