Issues with Room Condition and Accommodation Change
I recently stayed at Hilton Del Mar, and while I appreciated the friendly staff, I encountered a couple of issues that impacted my experience. Upon check-in, I discovered ants in the original King Deluxe room I was assigned. This was quite disappointing, as I had been looking forward to a comfortable stay.
As a result, I had to switch to a room with two Queen beds, which was not what I had originally booked. While I understand that these situations can arise, the change in room type affected the quality of my stay. I would have appreciated a more proactive approach to addressing the problem, by offering an alternative solution or compensation. I was directed to contact Hotels.com for a compensation adjustment.
