Nice place to stay just a 15 minute walk to the Ropeway. I had a room with private bath that was quiet and comfortable. Great, friendly staff. Would stay here again.

The facility is well kept even though the kitchen is used by all the guests. There’s a friendly community kind of atmosphere in the dining area. There is no air conditioning but the room is cool and well ventilated via the big window with insect netting. Onsen is very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice surprise for the price I paid.

Because it was more like a youth hostel for grown-ups, there were plenty of chances to meet interesting like-minded travelers. There was a good vibe. The facility is traditional to Tatami mats on the floor and futons bring your own food and cook in the condition and eat in the communal hall, overall very fun experience

Definitely recommend
This place was great! Our room was really comfy; had our own bathroom; great kitchen and common space for cooking; laundry facilities; onsen; they also have a ping pong table.
Would absolutely stay here again, just make sure to bring your food!

Best hotel stay ever! Hands down. Would come back here again and again. Thank you K’s house! They went above and beyond with amenities, ensuring we had snacks and drinks, sending a forgotten necklace home to me in the mail. Outstanding service!

Perfect room for getting up early and heading up the cable car to the top for some hiking. Quiet comfortable and clean. Some coffee and toast for breakfast. Easy and fine for me. Nothing fancy but a fine place to sleep

This is a really good hotel! Friendly staff, clean rooms and there is an excellent kitchen to prepare your food. The Onden is very nice and feels amazing after a hike on the Asahidake mountain.

Unbelievable facility with the kindest staff. Make sure you stop at the supermarket in Higashikawa, they have limited selection of food but a stellar kitchen set up and onsen!

The property is on a mountain / national park so there are no restaurants or convenience stalls in the areA. Be prepared to cook - you can buy your own ingredients or from their frozen food grocery shop and cook in their large and well equipped kitchen!
Perfect location to explore mt Daisetsuzan- you can walk up a trail 2 hours or take the ropeway up before attempting the summit
