The hotel itself was very very, very dirty. There are no amenities at all. Not even a coffee maker in the room. During the day the air conditioning didn’t keep the room cool either. The windowsill in the bathroom was disgustingly dirty, and one of the plugs was falling out of the wall. It looked like around the vent in the bathroom, which was very dusty as well, there was black mold.

We ended up moving the TV to use another outlet - The beds were uncomfortable and had pillows with zero support, woke up with neck and back pain - They have a gnat problem; it seems like they come from the drains in the sink and bathtub - The shower never gets hot, only warm - They have a bathtub, but it is unusable. Not hot enough water and too shallow. - When people smoke in the outside courtyard area, the smell seeps into the room.

Hotel was a little rough around the edges, but we throughly enjoyed our stay here. We ad the king balcony room, which was great for sitting out on at night sipping a red and people watching. Great location near Bourbon street and some really great restaurants! Front desk staff is absolutely awesome. Friendly and accommodating! If you are laid back and don’t care about sparkly extavegence, this is a great place to stay. Bed was comfy and clean! We would definitely stay here again given its locale.
